The Challenge
As part of Discovery Channel Asia’s efforts to generate awareness about their latest documentary ‘Frontier Sumatra’, which features Restorasi Ekosistem Riau (RER), a restoration and conservation project in Sumatra, Indonesia, the team was looking for an agency who could come up with a microsite as well as a social campaign for the launch of the documentary.
The Solution
We came in and built the microsite, launched Frontier Sumatra’s social pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, ran contests and engagement waves, and even did up Instagram AR Filters to promote the documentary.
The Results
With more than 190 pieces of content in just 4 months, we grew Frontier Sumatra’s social pages to 18,368 Page Likes on Facebook, 7,048 Followers on Instagram, and a total of 182,801 engagements across all platforms.
